This year, the MIT Fintech Club presented the 2025 editions of the MIT Fintech Conference which explored the themes of how technology (i.e., advances in ML) and policy (i.e., stablecoins, open banking) are enabling new fintech infrastructure, payment experiences, and customer trust hubs.
Starting with a keynote from Gary Gensler, the program featured panel discussions on Wealth Management, Innovation in Credit and Inclusion, the State of Consumer Banking, GenAI in Financial Services and Stablecoins. Our founder Sharon Obuobi, presented Alt/Finance - Private Credit for Alternative Assets in the Startup Pitch Competition, for which we were awarded the 1st prize as selected by the judges Kelly Shaw, Mario Ruiz, Kevin Weber and Abdul Abdirahman.
