This 12-week program, founded and run by Accenture and the Partnership Fund for New York City, helps early- and growth-stage fintechs like ours accelerate product and business development through in-depth engagement with top financial services and venture capital executives.
Our Journey and Mission
At Alt/Finance, we are on a mission to bridge the data gap for alternative assets with financial-grade data solutions. We started by tracking the risk and return patterns in fine art, luxury cars, wine, jewelry and more. Think of us as the Bloomberg for luxury real assets.
Why the FinTech Innovation Lab?
We applied to the FinTech Innovation Lab for the unparalleled opportunity to gain product and market-fit feedback from a global community of mentors, experts, entrepreneurs, and potential clients and investors. Senior executives from the Lab's partner financial institutions, who are actively interested in our product, dedicated significant time and resources to helping us refine our value proposition, better understand our customers, and position ourselves to scale faster. The program highlights included a group trip to DC to meet with key regulators and policymakers at Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), and Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).
Our Innovations and Impact
At the heart of Alt/Finance are the intricate AI-powered systems we've built that apply specialist domain knowledge and advanced data science to deliver sophisticated calculated market insights on alternative assets. The end result is that our easy-to-use browser based dashboard, powered by real-time data feeds, provides instant insights into market changes as they happen. With Alt/Finance, financial institutions can now view the missing puzzle pieces for a complete investment picture that includes luxury real assets, enabling increased interest returns on collateralized lending, more accurate client balance sheet records, and more.
As part of the FinTech Innovation Lab, we validated four primary use cases with five partner institutions in Balance Sheet Consolidation, Trust & Estate Planning, Tailored Lending Solutions and Family Office Management.
What's Next in 2025
Coming out of this incredible experience, we have exciting developments on the horizon including new partnerships with top tier financial solutions providers, the xpansion of our offerings on AWS Data Exchange, new data distribution partnerships and the launch of new software products.
