Alaïa has announced the opening of its new boutique at The Avenues in Kuwait, further expanding the Maison's presence in the Middle East and deepening its connection with the region. In line with Alaïa's new creative direction for its stores, this boutique showcases a unique selection of materials specially conceived for Kuwait.
The monumental storefront façade, designed by Halleroed, is punctuated by circular light perforations that echo Alaïa's sharp architectural language. The interior design reflects the Maison's vision of pure and timeless beauty, creating an interplay of intimacy, sensuality, and ease.
In the first section, dedicated to a curated selection of shoes and accessories, signature elements include sleek black Marquinia marble flooring and display features, complemented by the warmth of Carrara marble shelving. In the rear section, which houses ready-to-wear and additional footwear, bespoke Philippe Malouin sofas are placed atop an organic round carpet, evoking a couture salon atmosphere, with Alaïa's emblematic curved lines. A reminder that the Maison remains the epitome of craftsmanship and couture.
This new Kuwait boutique underscores Alaïa's commitment to expanding its unique experience while preserving the same timeless sophistication and intimacy that have always defined the Maison.
