RM Sotheby’s will open the 2026 auction season with its return to the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa for a 28th consecutive year, presenting a single-day sale of 94 lots totaling more than $60 million in estimated value. The auction is anchored by two private collections and headlined by four of Ferrari’s six halo cars, the F40, F50, Enzo, and La Ferrari, alongside modern and classic icons from Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Aston Martin, and RUF. The sale takes place on 23 January 2026, with previews on 22 and 23 January.
The four Ferrari halo cars lead the estimates. A 1995 Ferrari F50, one of 349 built and finished in Rosso Corsa over Nero, shows 8,195 miles and is powered by a 4.7-liter naturally aspirated V12 derived from Ferrari’s Formula 1 program. It is estimated at $7,000,000 to $9,000,000.
A 2003 Ferrari Enzo, one of 498 built worldwide and just 111 for the US market, shows only 746 miles across three owners and is estimated at $5,000,000 to $6,000,000. A 2015 Ferrari La Ferrari, limited to 499 examples and pairing a 6.3-liter V12 with a hybrid system for 949 horsepower, shows 1,938 miles and is estimated at $4,500,000 to $5,000,000. A 1991 Ferrari F40, Ferrari Classiche-certified and finished in factory-correct Rosso Corsa over Rosso Stoffa Vigogna, carries an estimate of $2,800,000 to $3,200,000.
Beyond the Ferraris, the top ten cars include a 1993 Porsche 911 Turbo S Lightweight ($2,250,000 to $2,750,000), a 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster ($1,800,000 to $2,200,000), a 1988 Porsche 959 Komfort ($1,800,000 to $2,200,000), a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT ($1,800,000 to $2,200,000), a 2016 Aston Martin Vulcan ($1,500,000 to $1,800,000), and a 1994 RUF RCT Evo Widebody ($1,200,000 to $1,500,000).
The sale features two distinct groupings, The Longhorn Collection and the Jim Edwards Collection.
