Meg Randell, Bonhams Head of UK and Europe Designer Handbags and Fashion commented: "Following on from the previous sales, it was a privilege to present the final instalment of exceptional Haute Couture gowns from the atelier of Ralph & Russo. The sale represented the last opportunity to acquire these remarkable designs, many of which
had graced the red carpet. Each piece was truly breathtaking, hand-embellished by the skilled artisans of the former atelier and requiring many hours of meticulous craftsmanship to complete. The level of artistry achieved can only be compared to that of a spectacular work of art. With impeccable provenance, these gowns came directly from the original Ralph & Russo archives. The sale marked the final chance to acquire designs from the magical world of Ralph & Russo Haute Couture, and it was no surprise we saw competitive bidding across the globe, resulting in white glove results where 100% of lots
sold."
