
Paris, 26 February 2026 - After a dry January, February saw some impressive results for several prestigious wine cellars at Bonhams Cornette de Saint Cyr in Paris, totalling €1.9 million and 100% sold by value.

Ending on 26 February 2026, the online auction of prestigious cellars including the Chef Michel Trama's at Bonhams Cornette de Saint Cyr concluded with very strong results, a sale total of €375,038. Michel Trama is a leading figure in French gastronomy. Self-taught and instinctive, he built his reputation on creativity, precision, and deep respect for terroir. In 1978, he and his wife Maryse founded L'Aubergade in Puymirol, transforming a historic bastide into a destination restaurant that earned three Michelin stars and became a benchmark of haute cuisine. Wine was central to his philosophy. Over decades, he assembled a remarkable cellar, selecting bottles for their balance, terroir expression, and harmony with his cuisine, sourced directly from top domains and stored in optimal conditions.

Among the vintages of the emblematic Pétrus & Château Mouton Rothschild from the 80s, Pétrus, Pomerol, 1989 (6 x 750ml) sold for €18,600 and Pétrus, Pomerol, 1990 (6 x 750ml) sold for €17,360.
The iconic Champagne houses and their prestigious and rare cuvées, from Salon or Dom Pérignon 1996 to Krug Clos du Mesnil 1983 including a Champagne Dom Pérignon, 1976 (2 x Magnum) sold for €9,920, four times its estimate of €1,800 to 2,200.
A Curated Private Collection: Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, 2008 to 2018 sold for €509,640 with 100% sold by lot, the 11 lots all offered in their original wooden cases, six of which remain banded.
This exclusive sale showcased a remarkable collection of iconic Grands Crus from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, the absolute reference of Burgundy. Assembled over the course of a lifetime, this remarkable collection reflected the vision of a passionate and discerning collector whose devotion to wine and art shaped every acquisition. Guided by an unwavering pursuit of excellence, he patiently curated wines of the highest quality and provenance, viewing each bottle not only as a great wine, but as a cultural and artistic expression. Highlight of the sale was a 2010 Assortment case sold for €62,000.
The Legendary Cellar of Hostellerie Jérôme sold for more than €1 million, far above high estimates, including the online sale ending on 20 February.
On Saturday 14 February, wine and food lovers gathered at Bonhams Cornette de Saint Cyr in Paris. In a full room, collectors and wine enthusiasts raised their Riedel glasses and enjoyed Maison Astara caviar while competing for rare Premier and Grand Crus, bidding in person, by phone, and online. All 306 lots were sold at auction on Saturday in Paris for a total of nearly €609,000 (including buyer's premium), well above their estimates (155% of low estimate). With more than 300 bidders from 26 different countries, all lots were sold and snapped up by collectors from 15 different countries (70% Europe, 17% United Kingdom, 11.5% APAC and 1.5% USA). The online sale totalled €396,316.
Highlights of the sale included:
• Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Assortment case of 11 bottles, 2010 (11 x 750ml). Estimated at €30,000 to €38,000, this case sold for €52,080.
• Domaine d'Auvenay, Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru, 2005 (1 x 750ml) - sold for €10,540 against an estimate of €8,500 to €11,000.
• Seven bottles of Château Rayas, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, 2007 sold for €7,440, more than twice their estimate.
• A lot of four bottles from Domaine Armand Rousseau sold for €6,820.
• Seven bottles of Château Rayas, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, 2008 & 2009 sold for €6,820, more than double their estimate.
• Domaine François Raveneau, Chablis 1er Cru, Montée de Tonnerre, 2016 (22 x 750ml) sold for €6,200 against an estimate of €4,200 to €5,000.
• Vertical of 15 bottles of Château d'Yquem, 1980s, sold for €5,208.
• 14 bottles of Champagne Ulysse Collin, Les Maillons, sold for €3,720.
