RM Sotheby’s Munich auction, held at Motorworld on 18 October 2025, grossed €26,078,500, the strongest result in the sale’s four-year history.

The top seller was the 1996 Ferrari F50, which brought €4,843,500. The Rosso Corsa example was delivered new to Italy and kept by its first owner for more than 20 years. One of only 349 built, it stands among the icons of the modern hypercar era.

Much of the attention fell on The Best of M Collection, a 22-car, no-reserve single-owner group of BMW M models that grossed €3,752,500, well above its high estimate. The collection was led by the 1980 BMW M1 at €567,500, with the 1990 BMW M3 Sport Evolution at €325,625 and the 2003 BMW Alpina Roadster V8 at €303,125, many lots exceeding their pre-sale estimates.

The second highest result of the night was the 1965 Ferrari 275 GTB by Scaglietti, one of around 250 short-nose examples built and carrying a body restored by Carrozzeria Auto Sport in 2012, which sold for €2,367,500. Rounding out the top three was the 2008 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Pur Sang in exposed carbon and polished aluminium, one of just five built, at €1,973,750.

The 2022 BMW M4 GT3, offered directly from the BMW M Motorsport division, sold for €646,250. Driven by nine-time motorcycle World Champion Valentino Rossi in 27 races, it contested the 2024 24 Hours of Le Mans, finished second in the 2025 Bathurst 12 Hour, and took FIA World Endurance Championship podiums before its livery was preserved with a lacquer applied by BMW Art Car specialist Walter Maurer.

A custom-built 2024 BMW R 18 Transcontinental, hand-signed by Pope Leo XIV in September 2025 and finished in a bespoke Witzel Mystikweiß Brillant shade, brought €156,000, with proceeds to be donated to Missio Austria in support of children in Madagascar. Other notable results included the 1957 BMW 507 Roadster Series II at €1,467,500, the 2011 Ferrari SA Aperta at €1,439,375, and the 2023 Ferrari 812 Competizione at €1,270,625.
