London and Paris – Bonhams announces three extraordinary single-owner auctions of fine wine and spirits featuring collections of impeccable provenance. The Perfect Provenance: The Burgundy Cellar of Two Friends sale runs on bonhams.com from 3-23 April, the Independent Spirits: A Single Owner Collection sale runs on bonhams.com from 4-23 April, and the Wine Excellence from an Impeccable European Cellar sale runs on bonhams.com from 4-25 April, all selling with No Reserve.

Perfect Provenance: The Burgundy Cellar of Two Friends – No Reserve 3-23 April | London The Perfect Provenance: The Burgundy Cellar of Two Friends sale offers a remarkable auction of Burgundy wines, assembled by two lifelong friends whose shared passion for fine wine has resulted in an extraordinary collection.

Every bottle was acquired directly at the domains, ensuring an impeccable provenance. Spanning decades of dedicated collecting, this cellar showcases legendary producers and the most sought-after vineyards, reflecting the depth and diversity of Burgundy. Producers such as Charles Lachaux, Mugneret-Gibourg, and De Montille are represented with wonderful vertical and horizontal flights from Domaine Méo-Camuzet. Chateau d'Yquem and Chateau Angelus, Biondi Santi and Poggio di Sotto also show the breadth of iconic producers in this collection from outside Burgundy, with a double magnum of Le Pergole Torte offering cult Tuscan flair.

• Domaine Charles Lachaux, Aloxe-Corton 1er Cru, Aux Valozières, 2021 (1x double-magnum). Estimate: £2,200-2,800

• Domaine Mugneret-Gibourg, 2020 horizontal (6bottles including Ruchottes-Chambertin, Clos de Vougeot and Echezeaux). Estimate: £2,200-3,000

• Domaine Méo-Camuzet, 2015 horizontal (6bottles including Echezeaux, Clos de Vougeot and Corton). Estimate: £1,300-1,600

• Vincent Dancer 'sunique Oskar 2021 in double magnum. Estimate: £1,400-1,900

Independent Spirits: A Single Owner Collection – No Reserve 4 – 23 April | Paris

The 311-lot sale includes 700 bottles, all offered with no reserve, assembled by apassionated French collector over fifteen years. Most of the collection was assembled at La Maison du Whisky, at auction, and abroad during his travels in Europe and Asia. A collectable Springbank 26 Year Old 1996 Sponge Special Edition whisky stars the curation.

Springbank distillery has been owned and operated by the Mitchell family in Campbeltown since 1837, and it one of Scotland's most revered distilleries. Bottled in 2023, this much sought-after bottle is one of 365 ever produced. It is offered with an estimate of €900-1,200.

Many independent bottlings of Scotch whisky and whiskies produced by young Japanese distilleries such as Chichibu, Mars, Kanosuke and Shizuoka will be offered at auction. The collection also includes Irish whiskies and whiskies from around the world (Taiwan, India, Wales, England, Australia), as well as a precise selection of rare rum, cognac, armagnac and other spirits. The collection also offers a strong selection by independent bottlers from the UK (particularly Decadent Drinks) as well as France, Belgium and Germany.

Wine Excellence from an Impeccable European Cellar – No Reserve 4 – 25 April 2025 | Paris

Wine Excellence from an Impeccable European Cellar, an exclusive single-owner auction of exceptional fine wines, showcases a distinguished collection including rare treasures from Burgundy and Champagne. The collection has a remarkable provenance and was amassed directly at the domains by a young female collector and kept under perfect conditions.

The sale brings together some exceptional bottles from the best producers including Domaine d'Auvenay, Georges Roumier, Ligier-Belair, Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey and case quantities of Domaine De Villaine. The collection is also particularly strong in its Champagnes, with case quantities of Salon. Finally, other top producers like Jean-Louis Chave, Chateau Figeac, Egon Müller, Penfold's.
