
Miami, FL, 3 May 2026 - Bonhams|Cars has confirmed a world-class selection of unique and rare modern-day supercars and hyper cars will headline The Miami Auction on May 3. The sale is hosted within the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix at the Miami International Autodrome, with a wide selection of the finest and most collectable cars on offer.
The sale will be led by a 2015 Ferrari La Ferrari Coupé, with an estimate of $7,500,000 to 9,500,000, that was originally created for the former lead singer of Van Halen, Sammy Hagar. This one-of-one Ferrari La Ferrari Coupé is finished in Bianco Avorio ivory, a color inspired by a 1964 Ferrari prototype - with a complimentary Cream and Black leather interior and displays just 1,500 original miles.
The Ferrari La Ferrari Coupé, one of the original 'Holy Trinity' of hybrid-powered hypercars of the mid-2010s, is fitted with a 6.3-litre V12-cylinder hybrid-powered engine, delivering 949hp. This unique vehicle presents with a one-off steering wheel to match the exclusive paintwork, with a plaque displaying "SH1013" - Sammy Hagar's initials and birth date.
Further important modern and classic Ferrari models on sale include a 2017 Ferrari F12 TdF Berlinetta with an estimate of $3,500,000 to 4,500,000. One of just 799 cars built as a limited-production track-focused variant of the F12berlinetta, this Ferrari F12 TdF Berlinetta is an extensively optioned 'Tailor Made' example presented in a unique one-off shade of Rosso TRS and shows less than 340 miles from new. Also offered is a 1996 Ferrari F512M, a recent Platinum and Class winner at the Cavallino Classic, with an estimate of $750,000 to 850,000 and a historic 1973 Ferrari Dino 246GTS, estimated at $600,00 to 700,000, with a well-documented history and finished in Marrone Dino Metallizzato.
Another headline of The Miami Auction is a one-of-five 2015 Mc Laren P1 Spider by Lanzante, with an estimate of $4,000,000 to 5,000,000. Originally constructed by Mc Laren Automotive as the P1 Coupé known as "The Professor"- the second of the 'Holy Trinity' of hybrid-powered hypercars - this Mc Laren P1 Spider is the second of five cars converted by well-known marque specialists, Lanzante. Presented in the distinctive Gulf livery of light blue and orange, it features a white leather interior with blue and orange Gulf accents.
Two further modern Mc Larens from different ends of the hypercar spectrum will be presented, including 2021 Mc Laren Elva estimated at $1,350,000 to 1,500,000. Presented in Tupelo Gold with white stripes and Black bespoke interior, the Mc Laren Elva offered displays just 400 miles from new and importantly, is denoted as XP2, being the 2nd prototype built ahead of production of just 149 cars. Also on sale is a 2021 Mc Laren 765LT Coupé in a rare Pistachio color with extensive Mc Laren Special Operations options, estimated at $650,000 to 750,000, that's being sold without reserve.
The Miami Auction will also see a trio of important Bugatti hypercars offered from different modern eras. A 2024 Bugatti Chiron Super Sport is one of only 80 built and offered with an estimate of $4,400,000 to 5,000,000. It's presented with a Black Carbon & Jet Grey exterior accented by Italian Red trim, with a Beluga Black interior with Italian Red detailing. Also featured is a one-of-60 2019 Bugatti Chiron Sport finished in Gris Rafale over Beluga Black leather with Italian Red stitching, carpets, and seat belts, that was originally specified with over $198,000 of factory options, including the Sky View roof, comfort seats and $56,000 worth of black anodized interior trim components fitted. The 2019 Bugatti Chiron Sport has an estimate of between $2,800,000 - $3,200,000. The final Bugatti in the sale is an Italian Red over Red leather 2008 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Coupé featuring the iconic 8.0-litre quad-turbo W16 engine, which has an estimate of between $1,250,000 to 1,500,000.
The Miami Auction will also feature a unique 2019 Koenigsegg Regera, known as 'Elegua', with an estimate of $2,300,000 to 3,000,000. This Koenigsegg Regera was originally built with more than $1,000,000 of optional equipment including Paint-to-Sample Candy Apple Red tinted carbon fibre bodywork with a bespoke Desiato Burgundy & Black quilted leather and Alcantara with matching red stitching interior, the Ghost Package of high-downforce aerodynamics and the Environmental Power Upgrade.
Rounding off the headline cars at the sale are two Ford GTs from different periods. A 2018 Ford GT with an estimate of $880,000 to 980,000 and a stripe-delete Tungsten Grey Metallic 2006 Ford GT, estimated at $625,000 to 675,000.

The Bonhams|Cars Miami Auction takes place on Sunday May 3 at the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, positioning the sale at the peak of the Grand Prix weekend's global attention and the main attraction supporting the Formula 1 race.
The Miami Auction position has also changed for 2026, now located on the 300-level inside Hard Rock Stadium, directly above the Paddock Club. This places it near luxury suites and exclusive hospitality areas such as Turn 1 Vista and Casa Tua, improving access for buyers and vendors alike.
