Bonhams Cornette de Saint Cyr will hold a day of free, confidential valuations in Bordeaux on Thursday 13 March 2025, from 10am to 6pm by appointment. The specialists will be received at the offices of the BARNES agency in Bordeaux, with valuations offered across Old Master and 19th-century paintings, fashion and leather goods, and Asian art.
Throughout the day, private individuals and professionals are invited to bring in objects that have been inherited, forgotten, or rediscovered in an attic. Arnaud Cornette de Saint Cyr and Emmanuelle Leclerc, generalist auctioneers, will also be available to advise on matters of estate, division of property, or inventory for insurance purposes.

They added that rediscovering a forgotten object in a private home and restoring its value on the market is the department’s primary mission.
Aymeric Sabatié-Garat, Associate Director of BARNES Bordeaux, said the partnership brought together two houses committed to celebrating the French art of living, and that the Bordeaux day gave clients the opportunity to have their personal treasures appraised in confidence.
Since 2023, Bonhams has been among the regular partners of BARNES, with whom such valuation days are organised across France. The Bordeaux session will take place by appointment at BARNES, 38 cours Georges Clémenceau, 33000 Bordeaux.
