Sotheby’s Paris will hold the sixth edition of its NOW! sale exclusively online from 18 to 26 February 2020, with an in-person exhibition on 21, 22 and 24 February.

The sale brings together contemporary art, photographs, 20th-century design and African and Oceanic art, with estimates ranging from €500 to 50,000. Featured artists include Hans Hartung, Robert Indiana, Jean-Pierre Pincemin and César, alongside a Senufo figure from the Ivory Coast, design pieces by Philippe Hiquily, and photographs by Peter Lindberg, Richard Prince and Liu Bolin.

This edition was staged by independent curator Lolita Cros, who lives and works in New York and is known for exhibitions that combine works by established and emerging artists. In earlier years she organised a series of conferences with artists including Peter Mc Gough of Mc Dermott & Mc Gough, Duane Michals, Peter Saul and Tina Barney.

From 2017 she served as curator and consultant for the spaces of The Wing, where artists shown at The Salon included Marilyn Minter, Jenny Holzer and Senga Nengudi. The previous edition of NOW! had been staged by fashion designer Esteban Cortazar in 2019.
