Christie’s will present Ravishing Blue: Imperial Porcelains from an Important Private Collection, a single-owner sale, on 2 May 2025 during Hong Kong Asian Art Week at the firm’s Asia Pacific headquarters at The Henderson.

The live auction features three examples of blue-and-white porcelain from three eras for the category: Yongle, 1403 to 1425, Yongzheng, 1723 to 1735, and Qianlong, 1736 to 1795. Together they carry a total low estimate of over HK$100 million.

The three porcelains have been preserved within the same collection for more than two decades and are now offered together. Spanning close to four centuries, they trace the development of blue-and-white porcelain through changes in technique, style and imperial patronage, from naturalistic landscapes to imperial symbols of power.

Ahead of the sale, the works will be shown in Shanghai from 1 to 3 April, in Taipei from 19 to 20 April, and at The Henderson in Hong Kong from 25 April to 1 May. Preview dates and venues are subject to change, and pre-registration is required.
